I love Gdiapers! I have used them for 9 months now! I love how cute they are. DD has several with ruffles on the bums! So cute! They come in a bunch of colors you can buy the covers new or used & just buy new pouches (the part that holds the gcloth, prefold, or flushie)
I was using gcloths but kept getting leaks DD was peeing to much so now I use prefolds (folded in 1/3rds) & haven't had a leak yet. I started in smalls & DD is currently in mediums GDiapers head quarters are wonderful if you are having leak issues or any other problem contact them! Wonderful company!
I also love the fact that if I want to use a flushable I can. (like for vacation) I use Gdiapers 24/7 & LOVE them!

Also, as for inserts bunching up, if that seems to be a bothersome problem, use 2 inserts, you can even use one cloth insert & one throwable...

As far as g's coming in a bigger size, I can't really say anything, but stay tuned to gDiapers.com!!!!!

I am a gDiaper user & love them! Wish I had known about them 10 years ago with my first baby (wait they weren't around then)....make that 5 or 3 years ago with my next 2 would have been awesome but nope, we didn't find gDiapers till our 4th baby was born September 2009. It took me a few weeks to get it right with the gDiapers, so if you're having issues with leaking ect KEEP TRYING!

We use a combo of cloth liners (some gCloth, some WAHM Hemp, some WAHM Bamboo and random others) & the flushies (mostly for travel, cause we do that A LOT) Hemp is so absorbent and trim, its my favorite by far (so far).

One more earth saving "tip" is to save the liners that need flushing for when you go to the bathroom, flush it when you flush yours, that way you are only flushing once!

I purchased these because I wanted to do something good for the planet These are the best. We have used them since our daughter was 2 months old and have never had a leak, or a plugged toilet, or a stinky diaper pail.

If you're looking to save some money on gdiapers and a bunch of other baby stuff (including bottles, formula, skin care, etc), you really should check out Diapers.com. enter the code MPED0013 in the "Promotions & Referrals" box in the diapers.com shopping cart and receive $10 off your first order of diapers
Diapers.com is a great way to stock up on your diapers if you don’t want to wait for a sale. In addition to a $10 off + FREE Shipping on $49 you can mail in your manufacturer’s coupons ahead of time for additional savings.

we love gdiapers. i have not had a real problem with them leaking which seems to be a problem with a lot of people. the main reason we switched is because my daughter got a diaper rash that we could not get rid of. she had it for 6 weeks, 3 doctors appointments and a $200 diaper rash Rx. she just has really sensitive skin and would get diaper rash close to once a week. since we switched to gdiapers a few months ago, we have not had any problems with diaper rash! they may be more expensive then disposable and cloth diapers but i will admit, i am just not a cloth diaper kind of mom!! i do not want to have to wash poop filled cloth diapers in my washing machine! these are a great solution for us (though each baby and family is different). they helped tremendously with diaper rash, dont have to deal with clothe diapers and are better for the earth! they are kind of pricey but we buy they at BUY BUY BABY and use Bed Bath and Beyond coupons. we hope they will work just as well with our expected baby in june!

wow... quite a lot has been said.

I couldn't help but wonder if anyone really considered that for anything to biodegrade it must be exposed to the elements, particularly oxygen and water, but also warmth, direct sunlight being the best. So... while the company claims faster biodegradability even if these things end up in the landfill, that only stands if the landfill is not a sanitary closed system like most are these days.

Also, if they are being flushed properly, the chemicals used to treat the water have a footprint all their own. AND not all biosolids, the stuff skimmed off the top of the water being treated, are used as fertilizer. In fact, most of it is carted to a dump rather than put through the permit process to spread.

I am a cloth diaper fan, leaks are minimal once you find the right cover for your baby's shape. I do however, find myself using more and more disposables now that I am diapering a fifth child. I am interested in getting my hands on some gdiapers, covers only, just to test fit and durability with my cloth.

to any and all, be as eco-conscious as you can, conserving water where necessary, composting if you can, landfilling if you must. There is not right answer for one... just like the babies themselves, diapering will be a different experience for everyone.

Have used gdiapers with both of my sons and rarely have leaks. I love these diapers. I read the gdiapers website extensively and am careful about putting them on correctly. We rarely have leaks and have had no problems flushing or composting. They just came out with cloth inserts specifically for the gdiaper and I love those as well.

Just wanted to say that i use the covers with prefolds as well, and they work great! I've tried many cloth covers and the gDiaper covers seem to work the best for us, i love the snap in liner. I had purchased a pack of the inserts that you are supposed to use at a consignment sale recently just to try it out..i figured at $5 that i spent on a whole pack it was worth it. However, i did not like using the gDiaper insert, it seemed to bunch up alot and there was a leaking problem. I didnt flush them, just tossed them in the garbage (we have septic and i wasnt going to risk it). I only wish that the gDiapers came in a larger size than just large, my 20month old is about to outgrow them, she is 32lbs and wide.

My son is three months old now and we've been trying the G's, alternating with disposables. There is no question that disposables are easier but the G's are great. We love them and are planning to switch to the G's full-time as soon as they arrive this week. They do leak on occasion but so do the disposables. Most of the time they are fine. The liners also stain but that doesn't bother me. We do have to use two of the inserts because he pees a bunch even with frequent changes. I think many of the people writing here are comparing the G's to cloth which for me is missing the point. Cloth are clearly a good option but a lot of folks who choose G's do so because they don't want to deal with cloth. In my opinion, no matter the drawbacks, G's are WAY better than all the throw-a-ways!!
