That’s prettier than our wedding cake!
I’d love to win it for my daughter-to-be. She’s due next month, and while we’re planning to cloth diaper part-time, we already know her childcare center requires disposables and we’ve been looking for the greenest option out there.
Our neighborhood is filled with families cautiously going greener – diapers appear to be one of the areas where parents are really reluctant to make a change. We’d happily share the wealth with our friends and neighbors – and I’m going to suggest a GiS cake as our group gift for the next expectant mother (right next door with her first!) She’s due in March.
we use cloth, but I love “greener” options for those times when family/sitters feel overwhelmed & just want a “normal” diaper, lol
We use cloth, too. But I have tried some of the greener disposables for when we are travelling and such and have been very satisfied. I like not worrying about chemicals against the skin. It would be great to have some more on hand!
I love this idea!! I’ve been researching organic diapers for when our 1st baby arrives in February. Our wedding was Fall themed so this is a beautiful option for a baby shower!
Greener disposables are a great idea! I’m currently pregnant with #2 and planning on cloth diapering, but disposables would be great for trips, and for in a pinch.
The fall themed cake is beautiful!
I think “greener” diapers are great. I cloth diaper half the time and the other half I use disposables. I’m constantly trying to find a greener disposable.
I think the cake is absolutely beautiful.
i have to come up with a gift for a baby shower…this idea is awesome!!!!
We are expecting baby #2 and currently use cloth, but it would be so wonderful to have an alternative for daddy to use on those late night/early morning diaper changes if needed. It would also be nice to show all of my friends that there is a healthier and more earth friendly option to disposables. The cake is beautiful!!
I think this is great. I’m six months pregnant and looking for eco-friendly products like this to use with my baby.
We also use cloth most of the time, but it would be wonderful to have a green option when we need a few sposies.
What a gorgeous cake! I’d hate to unwrap it!
We use cloth mostly around here but I’d love to give this to my best friend, who is due any minute. Hopefully this would be a nudge in the green direction. Thanks!
Me! Me! Me! I’ve just started using disposables and this would be the icing on my cake! Oh, how cute!
We use cloth 95% of the time, but I will be out of town for a week and not have access to a washing machine so I will need disposables. The green option is much better for me. the last time we were on vacation and I used disposies my baby broke out in a horrible rash? coincidence? I think not!
I love the greener disposables and I would love to win this for my girlfriend who is due in November.
we use cloth on our little one, but this would make a beautiful shower gift for my friend!
We use cloth on our son and are expecting #2 in December. While that baby will also be in cloth at home, when grandma and grandpa babysit, they use disposables, and I’d love to be able to give them some friendlier options than the mass-market chlorine-ridden ones they’ve bought thus far. Also, good friends are expecting their second in late February, and they use sposies exclusively; i’d love to be able to gently and subtly turn them in a more environmentally conscious direction, so we’d definitely share with them!
Ooh! I’d like to win. I know tons of pregnant ladies who would LOVE this. I think I’ve got 3 showers to go to- this would make at least one of those showers a little easier.
I’d love to win this.. We’re expecting our first child in early December and are trying to figure out what to do about diapering… I hate the idea of those plastic disposables sitting against my baby’s skin and then in the landfill but my husband isn’t quite on board with cloth diapers.. These might be a good option for us!
Wow so many choices! this will make a wonderful baby shower gift!!
Love these things! Why didn’t I think of that…
I wish I would’ve found more eco-friendly diaper options when my daughter was an infant. I wasn’t keen on using cloth diapers at the time so something like the Nature BabyCare diapers would’ve been heaven sent. It’s something I know we’ll consider when our second one comes along. I’d love to win this and give it to my friend who’s expecting her first in December. I know she’d love it and appreciate it’s consideration of the environment. It’s so beautiful!
I am pregnant with our first and have been doing research on greener options for diapers because most importantly I don’t like the idea of the disposables on our babies skin but also I don’t want to add to the billions of diapers filling our landfills. I will probably use cloth part time but know that there are those in my life that won’t want to deal with them. I’m sure I won’t want to deal with them sometimes too. Finding a diaper that fills that need will help make those beginning days just a little better. And this diaper seems to fit the bill!!!
We’ve been looking for a greener disposable for awhile! There are times (think Disneyland) that I just don’t want to carry around a bag of dirty diapers and/or covers. I’ve been afraid to buy these because with money as tight as it is now I’d hate to spend the cash and not love them! I’m hoping they are as great as they sound and would love to try them!
wow, organic diaper cakes! i love that they use all organic ingredients. i know the perfect eco friendly mom to give this to if i win. Also great ideas in the green baby shower section, adding growinstyle to my favorites for future reference.
I am sooooooo amazed. With the baby on the way I can use this with the ecomy in the ground. Its nice there are few giveaway still out there. This will help our poor family out.
I love these diaper cakes! I just visited the website and they are absolutely adorable!
I am planning my sister’s shower for Nov 1st. She is all about going green and organic, so I have been searching the web for ideas for her shower.
! Plus, this diaper cake would give her an alternative diaper to try to compare and see which ones she likes best.
She has been looking at fuzzibunz, but you can’t make a diaper cake out of them (or at least I’m not that creative)
Great idea! I’m glad I found the green baby guide to help me plan her shower on a tight budget! My sister did such a great job with my shower and I don’t want to let her down!!!
I don’t have children myself, but I am surrounded by them! I am a speech therapist and I will be working with up to 20 families a week that have children between the ages of birth to 3. I would love to pass this on to a family in need!
I think that these ‘green’ diapers would be great, because I think that it is HARD to keep up with cloth diapers all of the time. How nice to have disposable diapers that are actually ‘green’. If only they all could be that way….
That is -so- pretty…! I would love to win it. I had a wonderful baby shower hosted by my mother-in-law, but I always kind of regretted not having a diaper cake. We had a very yummy and pretty real cake, but I just really like the idea of the diaper cake and would love to finally get my hands on one!
How cute! A friend had her son on Sunday. This would make a perfect gift!
Honestly, I’m not sold on greener disposables. I’m going to use cloth diapers as much as possible on our daughter, but for those rare occasions when disposables are needed, I’m not sure if I’ll reach for green ones. I’ve read negative reviews of the Seventh Generation ones – hopefully these ones are far more leak-proof. I’d gladly test them for free, though, and a diaper cake is a lovely way to receive them!
I love the thought of eco-friendly diapers! Great way to package them too! Enter me please!
I often think about going cloth, but living in an apt with no in-unit washer always holds me back. I love the idea of a green disposable instead.
What a beautiful diaper cake – that would be wonderful to gift a friend who has a baby coming in December!
we use cloth most of the time, but for trips we like to use disposables, so this would be a greener way to do that!
This is awesome! I am throwinng a prinkle shower for by best friend this in late November and this would be perfect as a center piece and gift. I had not heard of a sprinkle shower until she mentioned maybe we should go that route. This is her second child and already has the BIG items. It is a more intimate gathering of friends and family.
I have a child in diapers and have never tried this brand before. I have heard a lot of positive things about them though. So I would love for her to try them and give me her personal feedback.
What an awesome idea for a diaper cake!
This is a great idea for when I take the baby to Grandma’s house. She doesn’t like changing cloth diapers! Thanks!
That is fantastically cute and functional to boot!
Since we’re not using cloth diapers, I’m thrilled with some of the more environmentally friendly disposables on the market. I haven’t tired Nature BabyCare, but Earth’s Best is a great option with better fit than Seventh Gen and less leakage.
How cool! Those would make such great gifts! I plan on using cloth with the baby I’m expecting, but I my daycare won’t take cloth so I’ll have to buy disposables, too. I had planned on Seventh Generation diapers but will look into Nature BabyCare, too.
I would love to win this for my sister-in-law who is planning on going very green when her son or daughter is born but they’re also on a strict budget & winning her a few green disposables would really help!
That’s so cute! I’m pregnant and while we’re planning to use cloth diapers at home, I want a good “green” alternative for disposables to use when we’re on vacation, visiting friends, or other places where cloth isn’t so easy to use. Thanks!
What a great giveaway! I’m due with my first baby around New Year’s, and I’m certain these diapers would be put to good use.
I’ve been stocking up on diapers, but haven’t yet added ‘green’ diapers to my stash. They are a bit pricey, but maybe they’re worth it in the long run.
I’d do cloth, but our apartment doesn’t have a washing machine. Thanksf or the chance!
Anything more green is great. We would love this for our baby due in January.
Thanks! A Shower coming right up!
Ann
I prefer to use cloth but there are times when disposables are really handy! I love that these are a little more healthy than the other disposable options!
I’ve been to AT LEAST one baby shower a month for the past two years, sent gifts across the country to showers I couldn’t attend, helped with food, etc. for 3 showers, and hosted a double shower for 2 moms expecting 3 babies!!!!! Lots of fun, but lots of work.
This beautifully made, green treat is all for me. I’d love to win!
oooh pretty! I love that there are greener choices in disposables because while I know cloth is best, sometimes you just need a disposable.
That’s one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen! :>) We love our cloth and green disposables rock!
This would be an absolutely amazing present to give to my sister at her upcoming baby shower! I think she’d absolutely love it!!
My sister in law is due next month with her 2nd child. They used cloth diapers exclusively with their first and this would be a great way for them to try something more green than regular disposables when they travel.
That is beautiful and would be perfect for my sister-in-law!
I’d love this. We usually give diaper and wipes baby showers for couples in our church class having the 2nd + babies. I’d love to bring this diaper cake to the next one!
I have a friend that is due soon and she is going to use cloth. However, I would love to give her this diaper cake so that she has some green sposies on hand for those new mom life comes at you fast moments. Thanks for the chance!
We use cloth on weekends, but Seventh Gen disposables during the week at daycare and love that there’s now green options for however we want to diaper!
That cake is beautiful!
Love these! I tried to make my own out of disposibles, but this is SO much better! Perfect for the next baby shower!!
My best friend is having her first baby! This would be a great baby shower gift!!!
This cake is awesome! I have many baby showers coming up and this would be great decor as well as a gift. Giving other Mothers the option to go “greener” with their disposable diapers is a great gift idea as well.
Thanks for the chance to win such a great prize!
Wow! I never realized that “green” disposables were even an option! I have always felt guilty that I haven’t been cloth diapering my son & have already decided that I will cloth diaper my next. Eco friendly disposables are great news though! Thank you for alerting me to this & I will definitely look more into it!
I’m all for cloth, but there are just times when a disposable comes in handy. I’d love to give this cake to a good friend who is due in a few months. I don’t think she’ll do cloth, so it would be nice to show her that there are greener disposables.
I’m due in 2 weeks… can definitely use something like this around here
Oh, I would love this! I have wanted to do cloth diapers, but it seems to require such a large out of pocket amount of money! THanks for this giveaway!
I plan to use cloth but I’m sure there will be times when I want or need to opt for a green disposable. Great giveaway!
Wow a diaper cake with cloth diapers, how great! If I win it I’ll take it to my own baby shower to show everyone
Greener disposables definitely have a place in our cloth diapering family. Hauling clean and dirty cloth diapers around with us when we’re visiting family on the mainland isn’t at all practical. Our trips last 10-20 days, so even if we did cloth diaper laundry every 3 days, the smell would be pretty strong, especially in the summer!
Our next trip is coming up in December and we hope to be trying the Nature BabyCare diapers if we can find them locally. If not, 7th Gen as usual.
What a beautiful cake – inside and out!
The cake is gorgeous. I have an expecting friend & she’s trying to be more “green” for the health of the baby. How perfect this cake would be as a gift:)
OOOOOOOHHHHHH!!! This would be perfect for my cousin’s baby shower, we are both pretty “crunchy” so I think she would appreciate the organic option.
Wow! Beautiful!
I’d love to win these for my friend! Her baby shower is in November and her LO will be born in January.
That is very pretty, they look like would work good
I’m due in January and while we’re planning, I know some eco friendly disposable will come in handy.
It looks so pretty too!
Oh, this would be perfect for my coworker who is expecting her first baby! I’ve love to win!
How very neat, I’m due in January and this would be a blessing!
I’m due in February and my sister just had a baby. She’s using natural diapers and I would love to share with her, as well as save some for me to try. This is a great give-away!
That is a beautiful diaper cake! I have never tried the nature babycare diapers, but we do use the 7th generation chlorine free diapers and wipes. Aside from them being somewhat better for the environment, I love that they are plain and free from advertisements like the conventional brands that are covered in popular cartoon characters.
I am almost 7 months pregnant, and my husband and I currently trying to decide between cloth and disposable. While we really, really want to do 100% cloth, it just doesn’t seem feasible, what with having to put our son in daycare at 3 months. Still, we’d like to try using a mix of cloth (at home) and disposable (at daycare), and so if we can use a greener disposable, fantastic!
Also, my baby shower is in a week and a half, and what a great prize it would be to win that adorable diaper cake!
I have a cousin and 2 sisters-in-law that are pregnant and this would be a great shower gift for one of them! I use cloth diapers when I can and really appreciate that there are more earth friendly disposable options out there.
I think greener disposables are a great option for people that don’t have the time or energy or resouces to cloth diaper, but still want to stay green, or for people whose children are sensitive to all the ‘stuff’ in regular disposables. I switched to cloth for that very reason (son is sensitive to disposables) and I’ve been encouraging others to do the same.
Ooh! Gorgeous! We’re expecting our first baby in December, and we’ve slowly begun to gather cloth diapers, and even fabric to sew some ourselves–my husband’s project! It’s been such an exciting time. I’ve realized, however, that I’d love a few convenient disposables, especially for the hectic first few weeks and for babysitters later. Having a baby is such a joy, and it helps to know that we’re being gentle on the earth while we’re creating our nest.
This is GORGEOUS, I’m throwing a baby shower for my best friend, I’ve been encouraging her to go green. This is a wonderful idea.
Thanks
How fun! I’d love to give this to my friend who is expecting, to show that you can be green even if you don’t go the cloth route (as I don’t think I have much luck convincing her of that, despite my raves).
I’m soon to be a new mom and am planning on cloth diapers, but I know that we will need disposables to use sometime and would love this cake.
Would love to give this to a friend for her baby shower this month! Or I may get selfish and keep it for myself! We use Nature Babycare diapers for overnight and traveling with our baby. They work great!
We’re using cloth but will use greener disposables for travel, especially when we relocate this summer. And who couldn’t use a little sposies for when the volume of newborn poo is just stressing you out??
I am throwing a baby shower for a friend next month who is deciding whether or not to use cloth diapers. No matter what she decides, I would love to give her these better disposable diapers.
Pick me.
How very pretty. I would love to win this for my sister who is expecting.
With three kids in diapers, I think the extra money spent on environmentaly friendly diapers is worth it. And my SIL just had a baby last week and I still need a baby shower gift!
Love this cake and I could totally use it too.
What a cute idea! My daughter is expecting her first baby in January and this would be a great way for her to try Nature BabyCare Diapers! We have purchased a few packs of another organic brand for her to try but we honestly didn’t know we had another choice. This cake would look adorable at her baby shower. What a way to advertise! Way to go folks!
I agree this is more beautiful than a wedding cake. I am so excited to get the opportunity to try cloth diapers, especially those that are even “greener”. My husband and I have had interest, but have been given negative feedback from friends that have never tried it. We don’t want to be pursuaded to use disposables, but we would also like to “try” before we buy:)
Would love to win this for my shower next month, and to have a ready supply of green diapers! Fantastic, thanks for the chance.
That is GREAT!!! what a wonderful gift – and good for the environment – you can’t beat that!
I’m not even pregnant yet (but actively trying), but am starting to research diaper options…Just last night I mentioned potentially using cloth diapers when we do have a child and, like most people’s first reaction, he thought I was crazy..I have at least 9 months to get him to see my points..but these green diapers would be great for when we travel, and might help my husband come around!
This is lovely! My little one is now in size 4, but my nephew-to-be would be able to sport them. His mom would be thrilled!
I just tried these diapers about a week ago and love them. We normally do cloth, but were at the beach and ran out. I would love to win the cake!
With my first son, we used disposable diapers. My husband is a eco-freak and really wanted me to do cloth diapers. I was afraid of getting them because I thought it would be more work. After talking to some of my coworkers who recently had babies, they have told me that using cloth is very easy. I would love to try them on my next child.
I would love to try these! I am due in 8 weeks!
I am very interested in organic and better for the environment products. I think ‘greener’ disposables are such an awesome alternative to traditional disposables. As a new parent I have started to change my thinking and consider the effect of what I do/use has on the environment.
I would love to win these and try them out! What a great giveaway.
Greener diapers are great…actually, greener anything is great!
I love this gorgeous cake! It would be perfect for upcoming baby showers! Thanks!
This is a great product! I love the win this for my baby on the way.
We’ve stocked up on cloth diapers for our (now overdue) baby, but having a few disposables on hand would be great!
I love the way that the theme of this “cake” complements the notion of green disposables. The fall colors and leaves conjure up images of nature, which is exactly the thing that the diapers are designed to protect!
Nicely done!
It’s also sweet of you do a give away like this.
We’ve been looking into diapering options (due date 11/20), and have thought about cloth simply for the environmental impact. But I hadn’t heard of green diapers like these before. So maybe we’ll be able to have to ease of disposables after all! I’d love to try them.
This would be great to give to my cousin who is expecting. Thanks!
I have two little girls who I have used seventh generation natural diapers with, but I would love to try an even more green diaper. Thanks for the contest.
I would LOVE to win this diaper cake for my little girl, due in 6 weeks! We are planning to cloth diaper but will be having ‘green’ disposables on hand as backups and these sound great.
Thanks for the offer!
I would love to win this diaper cake for my new little boy due in 4 weeks! Anything that I can do that is “greener” I would love to be a part of.
Thanks, everyone, for entering this giveaway! Finally it’s time to choose a winner. The random number generator gave me . . . #75, Julie! Congratulations, Julie. I hope your cousin or sisters-in-law are dazzled by this Grow In Style diaper cake at their baby shower. I’ll email you soon!
