All food for thought ideas. My feeling is that since I'm doing cloth diapers for the baby why not use cloth wipes for me too. Not much more laundry. However, all this is silly on savings when a new law goes into effect that ALL clothes and toys for kids under 12 have to be tested for lead. That means NO clothes and toys at your local resale shop. They will be out of business. Guess where all clothes and toys will go?? The dump. So much for recycling and being green. It is all a joke. Our local resale shops are having sales to get rid of inventory before the law goes into effect. Check it out. I wish that I was joking.

Yeah! That's great. Okay, I was just looking over my electricity bills for the year because I realized you can do that on the pge website and it was kind of fun. I realized that I was only paying 25-30 dollars a month TOTAL for energy in the summer. I totally credit many of the tips I got off of this board. Since school started, I haven't been doing as well, it's been cold, dark and I have less time to hang clothes to dry. But it still is lower than previous years even though rates supposedly went up. Next when I have time, i'll analyze my gas usage. Yes, I'm such a dork, but I've written down every tank of gas since I bought my car 3 years ago. Hey, it's something to do while sitting in the car waiting since we can't pump our own.
