Silly Joy,

No matter how long or short the labor… how big or small the baby… c-section, epidural, o’ natural – giving birth is an amazing miracle EVERY time. We are all so much stronger than we give ourselves credit for.

We are SO proud of you and your boys and SO in love with sweet Jovi! Words can’t express how happy we are to have you in our lives to share in all this craziness!

Whenever I hear about any childbirth process my overwhelming urge is to tell the mom “Amazing job!!” or “good work!!,” but that goes double for natural childbirth. I gotta say both to you. Congratulations, she’s adorable!

What an absolute sweetie she is! Birth is so amazing on so many levels. Amazing that we can finally see this beautiful little life in our arms. Amazing that our bodies can actually get that little life out. Amazingly difficult and painful. And amazing that we’d actually even contemplate doing it again!
