We use glass containers as well. Not these one specifically, but basically glass versions of tupperware. They are wonderful and never break!!! We have dropped them so many times. They are Anchor and Glasslock I believe.

I have been using Japanese saki cups to feed my daughter, which is pretty much the same except they don't have lids. I like the idea of custard cups, though. I should have bought that set I saw at Goodwill the other day!

Unfortunately, the lids didn't last more than a couple years before splitting. I wish I could buy some new, sturdy lids without buying ANOTHER custard cup set. I have sort of looked but never found any.

Leigh, stainless steel bowls sound nice, too. I promise that the custard cups are unbreakable. At least I assume they are, since I've never broken one, and I break everything! It's also nice that glass bowls can go in the microwave, but of course not everyone likes to microwave stuff.

I know I would break glass, so what I use are a set of four nesting stainless steel bowls from the autoparts store that my father picked up.

I have a set of these and I LOVE them. I use them for everything, and I guess now that I have a baby on the way, they'll be great for that too! I also have a set of 4 ceramic ramekins. While not clear, they boast all the same pluses as the custard cups.

I will have to keep an eye out for a set of either with lids. I've never seen custard cups with lids, but I love the idea.

I have a set of ceramic fondue cups that I used. They don't have lids so they didn't work for daycare, but they worked great at home.

This is so funny b/c I have a brand new set of these sitting in my basement!! They came as a package and I used the baking dishes but never these. I'm so excited b/c you can put them in the freezer so when I make a baby friendly dinner I can freeze some and pull it out when we don't have a baby friendly dinner.

Thanks!
