Bamboo is so environmentally freindly that making baby blankets out of this wonderful product mother nature has seen fit to give us in abundance is terrific. It is a self sustaining plant that regenerates itself at a staggering rate. Bamboo is an excellent choice. Good for you and keep getting the information out there. It is also perfectly comfortable and soft to make baby and mother cozy. Thank you so much for your sugggestion.

Kristen, here are some organic cotton baby blankets on Amazon. I haven’t tried any of them myself, but I do see that one is just $12! I think that “organic bamboo” products should be free of any harmful processing chemicals, but I guess you never know. Maybe our readers have some good suggestions!

I love how soft bamboo fabric is, but it definitely takes a lot of chemicals to produce. Do you have a favorite organic cotton blanket you’d recommend?
