Valentine’s Day with a Newborn: A Horror Story

It was Valentine’s Day, 2006. On this day of doilies and cupids, my husband and I thought it would be romantic to dine out with our two-week-old baby. Our little one would curl  up in one of our arms and sleep as her Valentine’s gift to her parents.
