Welcome to Thrifty Green Thursday, the Green Baby Guide’s blog carnival that starts every Wednesday at 8 p.m. PST.  Please join us by writing your own “thrifty green” tip on your blog.  We’ve had participants write about everything from joining a food co-op to making bird feeders out of pinecones.  Then follow the steps below:

1. In Mr. Linky’s name field, write your blog’s name followed by a brief description of your tip. For example, we would write “Green Baby Guide (Free Organic Produce)” in that field.

2. In the URL field, insert the permalink to your current Thrifty Green Thursday post. We want readers to be able to find your specific Thrifty Green Thursday post days or even months later, so it’s important to provide a permalink.

3. Don’t forget to link back to the Green Baby Guide’s current Thrifty Green Thursday post on your blog (also using a permalink)!

4. If you are inspired, please leave a comment on our Thrifty Green Thursday post. If all of us participating in the blog carnival make an effort to visit each other’s sites and post comments, everyone will benefit.

What is a permalink? It is a link that will take readers directly to a specific post instead of your homepage, so days or months later readers can find that Thrifty Green Thursday idea. Simply click on the title of your Thrifty Green Thursday post and paste the address you see in the address bar into the URL field of Mr. Linky. Also, when you link back to us, please link back to our current Thrifty Green Thursday post using a permalink to that day’s post.
